Endoscopy looked normal, samples were taken and I should hear back within 1-2 weeks. So sleepy after the anesthesia I feel like I could sleep for 40 hours straight. It wasn't even a heavy anesthesia I am just... a baby haha.

GI app had gotten moved up. Endoscopy this thursday. Whoooo. I am... exhausted and vaguely queasy.

Hunger pain still present, GI App scheduled for Monday after next. Not looking forward to probable endoscopy but if I gotta do it, well :| yeah. Tired. Having trouble being motivated for anything. I think I'd be damnright peppy if my stomach would just chill, y'know? Hopefully I don't have to go through more procedures.

More doctor nonsense weekend. All my organs are healthy! but also I have spine degeneration (just a bit) and some pinched nerves. So whoo, me. My right side was hurting but that was... attributed to some *other* non-appendix, non-organ problems. Apparently I am pretty damn healthy as far as organs go. Now if my stomach would just... adjust to constantly having bile dropped into it. :|

Sooo sleepy. Have you guys seen the new space images? Pretty neat stuff. Also something something solar flares. I need an adult nap.

You ever just end up with an ulcer? Yeah. On antibiotics and 80mg of prilosec a day. Exhausted, had a friend over the last few weeks. We went swimming over the weekend and to Kareoke on friday. It was my first time in an actual kareoke room, and surprisingly I think I did pretty alright. Played some DDR after for the first time in a year or two since the retro arcade replaced their machines with dancemania. After a month of rest and lowkey activity I am... Significantly sore, haha.

Still exhausted. Got some sleeping pills to help me sleep and because I think I am having some post-surgery mental funk and keep freaking out at bedtime. It helped a bit last night but one night of full sleep does not--unfortunately--undo sleep deprivation. I've re-read Divergent, and read The Invisible Life of Addie Larue and Feversong in the last week. The authors notes at the end about her struggle with carbon monoxide poisoning was... a lot. I am hoping she is doing well these days. I had also tried reading A Discovery Of Witches, but I think the writing still just isn't quite right for me. I restarted it three times and just... Felt blegh about it.

Also been trying to eat a reasonable diet, which is kind of diffiult because I'm a food hedonist. I like delicious, decadent things. Like browned butter in brownies with chocolate chips, pepperjack mac and cheese... Absolute torture because I need to go easy on dairy, greasy and fatty foods for a little while so my stomach can adjust to not having the gallbladder to filter stuff. Oh well--I've gotten good at cooking fish and chicken quickly, and the added fruits is probably good for my chronically low energy levels. I hope.

I had gallbladder surgery on the 9th after being violently ill for a few days. As you can see, I'm alive! and still very much recovering. Most of the incisions were tiny, but the one in my bellybutton is bigger--the surgeon also found and fixed a hernia around there so it's a little extra tender. So far feeling pretty good and probably eating more healthy food than I ever have. Kinda bruised up because I was hard to start IV's and such on. We'll see what I end up getting to next.

Turning this into an updates page until I have the energy to code and design something. Energy is kind of hard to come by sometimes. Kind of contemplating going back on a multivitamin because it probably wouldn't hurt even if it might not help either...

For now, I'm going to do random little projects I feel like doing. You can read my about me if you like.

I have a books page now. Still being updated/under construction as of 6-2-2022. or you can visit my guestbook and sign it.
